Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate English Teacher to join our team in Beijing. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching students aged 6 to 16, a strong understanding of various subjects like science, geography, history, and excellent communication skills. Your primary role will be to foster a learning environment that helps students develop their language skills and reach their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English to students aged 6-16 using a curriculum based on National Geographic’s Reading Explorer and Wonderful World series.
- Set clear standards and expectations for students to achieve their goals and objectives.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students grow academically and develop critical thinking skills.
- Customize lesson plans and materials to suit individual teaching styles and create a suitable learning environment.
- Monitor student progress throughout the semester using easily quantifiable metrics.
- Ensure that teaching quality requirements and student goals are consistently met.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in any field.
- One of the following certifications: state teaching license, Educator certificate, PGCE, QTS, SACE, CELTA, DELTA, TKT, TEFL, or TESOL.
- At least two years of experience in a classroom or school environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Professionalism, integrity, and a passion for education.

COVID-19 & China border updates
Borders in China reopened to foreigners in Summer 2020. However, with increased COVID-19 cases in Mainland China, the number of visas issued has decreased and schools are having great difficulty hiring outside of China. There are only a very limited number of schools who can obtain a PU letter and get a work visa. Contact us to see if you are applicable.
